Liverpool F.C. to-day transferred to Notts County Tom Flower, you and able goalkeeper. Flower joined Liverpool as an amateur from the Cadby Hall club, in October, 1936.
He played most for the “A” and reserve teams, doing particularly well late in the season. Birmingham F.C. were also interested in him.
It is likely that Ben Dabbs, the Liverpool full-back, may be signed up before the end of the week by one of three clubs who are in touch with Liverpool about him.
