The west coast is, apparently, a popular spot for football clubs’ Cup preparation. Liverpool, who are at Cleveleys, are not lacking in companions. Staying at the same hotel are Leeds United, Blackpool and Swansea Town. Sheffield United are at an adjacent hotel.
Former Liverpool players in Gordon Hodgson and Harold Barton have been renewing acquaintance with their former colleagues, and Harry Eastham, of Liverpool, has again linked up with his brother George, who plays for Blackpool.
