Inter-League Championships at Anfield

To-morrow, at Anfield (7 o’clock), the two leading Liverpool schoolboy teams of the year will meet to decide the championship of the city and who shall be the holders of the cup presented by the senior Lancashire F.A. The contending schools are Roscoe Senior and St. Alexander’s R.C., and all the players will be no more than 14 years old.

Roscoe has set up a record by winning the championship of its age group in each of three succeeding years, and now being the holders of the Albert Worgan Shield. St. Alexander’s have won the Catholic School’s championship.

Roscoe. – Pendleton, Hankin, Mills, Chadwick, Ellis, McKenzie, Rowe, Hughes, Williams, Wright, Burman.
St. Alexander’s. – Clifford, King, Pendleton, Hanratty, Downing, Murdock, Kelly, Todd, Corlett, Molloy, Murphy (captain).

The game will be preceded by the replay of the Catholic Cup semi-final which was drawn on Saturday, St. Edward’s v St. Elizabeth’s.
