It was officially announced by Mr. J.R. Towers, vice-chairman and acting secretary-manager of Notts County F.C., to-day that Tom Flower, the County goalkeeper, who was injured towards the close of last season, is making excellent progress, and that it is almost certain that he will be quite fit to play at the beginning of the forthcoming season.
Flower has been under the care of a specialist during the close season, and a final report concerning him will be made by the specialist in a month’s time.
