George Milligan, Everton’s wing half-back, won the club bowling tournament at Ellesmere Port, yesterday, when the players went for their annual visit to Bowaters.
In the final of the tournament Milligan defeated Billy Edwards. Rain ruled out the cricket, bowling and tennis matches arranged for the evening, and so indoor games were played and a social, during which Gordon Watson won the musical chairs, was the final item.
Director Mr. Will Gibbons and Secretary Mr. Theo Kelly were in charge of the Blues’ party.
