Liverpool have to make several changes for their Western Regional match against New Brighton at Anfield on Saturday. Of the attack which opposed Preston, last week, only Van den Berg remains.
The club hopes to have some of the regular first team men back for the local “Derby” games with Everton on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Nieuwenhuys returns to Saturday’s team after injury, and the inside forwards will be Paterson, Shafto and Carney, the local amateur.
Rogers is at centre-half for Tom Bush, and Kemp goes into goal for Arthur Riley.
