The following players were chosen, yesterday, to take part in the Football League v. All-British Red Cross match at Bradford on Saturday: –
Football League – Ted Sagar (Everton); Bert Sproston (Manchester City), Catlin (Sheffield Wednesday); Willingham (Huddersfield Town), Stan Cullis (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Joe Mercer (Everton); Matthews (Stoke City), G.W. Hall (Tottenham Hotspur), Tommy Lawton (Everton), Carter (Sunderland), Beasley (Huddersfield Town).
All-British XI. – Arthur Riley (Liverpool); Hayes (Huddersfield Town), Andy Beattie (Preston North End); Matt Busy (Liverpool), Harper (Barnsley), R.J. Browne (Leeds United); Frank Broome (Aston Villa), Mannion (Middlesbrough), Jock Dodds (Blackpool), Peter Doherty (Manchester City), O’Donnell (Preston North End).
