Liverpool at Crewe Alexandra

Liverpool visit Crewe Alexandra in a Western Regional game and another good display is anticipated. A number of changes have been made in the Anfield eleven. The full strength at the command at the club is expected for the home games with Wrexham and Bolton on Saturday and Monday respectively.

Liverpool (v. Crewe). – Arthur Riley, Tommy Cooper, Bernard Ramsden, Matt Busby, Fred Rogers, Jimmy McInnes, Billy Liddell, Berry Nieuwenhuys, Willie Fagan, Jack Balmer, Herman Van Den Berg.

The reserve side v. Preston North End, at Anfield is: Syd Lund, Ray Lambert, Ted Rafferty, Stan Eastham, Dennis Cooke, Eddie Spicer, George Leadbetter, Stan Palk, Bob Paisley, Len Carney, George Collister.
