The death of Hugh McKelvey

May 6, 1940
Hugh McKelvey, who played football for Glentoran, and was chosen for Ireland against Wales in 1901, died yesterday at his residence in Belfast. He played at centre-forward and inside-left for the Oval side, to whom he went from Parkside Rovers, a Ballymacarret club.
