Liverpool Boys’ city team during the past two months as attained form very little short of pre-war standards, and after several good victories have now challenged a combined team from the rest of Merseyside, and the game will be played on Saturday at Holly Park (15:15).
The proceeds will be handed to the South Liverpool Club as a mark of appreciation for favours received from the generous hands of the South-end club during this and other seasons.
