As there is no senior match in the city on Saturday the meeting of the young “Reds” and young “Blues” – the Liverpool and Everton colts teams – wind up the season. Everton’s team averages 18 years and Liverpool’s is made up of players 18 and under.
The ages of all these youngsters are to be given in the programme. Three of the Liverpool side – Lambert, Cooke and Palk – have already played in the senior team.
