Ten clubs are to compete in the Liverpool County Combination this season, including the Liverpool League champions, Automac. They were unbeaten last season, and open their season on Saturday with a visit to Burscough Vics.
Marine, who hope soon to have Harry Birtles back on duty, go to Bellefield, West Derby, to face St. Theresa’s, who are sharing the ground with Carlton. Carlton, a promising young side, go to Anfield to face Liverpool “A”.
