It is Liverpool’s turn to face Napiers who created a surprise on Saturday by beating Everton. Napiers provide the opposition at Anfield. The Reds opened by drawing 2-2 with Carlton who face Randle at Bellefield, West Derby. Rootes and St. Teresa’s meet at Thingwall-road.

Burscough Vics have dropped out of the competition and so Marine, left without a combination match, face an Army side at College-road.

Mr. Harry Lyon, Hon. Secretary of the Combination will be pleased to hear from any club wishing to take the place at Burscough Vics. He will be able to give some help regarding a ground.
