Manager Mr. George Kay has still some doubt about the constitution of the Liverpool side to face Manchester City at Maine-road tomorrow.
Dick Dorsett will be back at inside left and there is a possibility that Billy Fagan will have his first game of the season with the Reds.
Mr. Kay has secured permission to play Batey, the tall, experienced Preston North End players, at centre half, and he will bring that essential experience to bear in a young defence. It will make all the difference.
