Final selection of Dundee United’s team for the game at Tannadice with Leith Athletic will not be made until to-morrow, but I have on item of news regarding it. A new right-half will be played. This player comes with experience in English League football and is in civil employment in the district. His name is withheld meantime.
There will, of course, be another newcomer in the side – Corporal Robert Glassey, of Mansfield Town, who was “booked” to play a fortnight ago. He will be at inside-left.
