Sidney Grossman’s benefit match

Liverpool have decided to send their best available Reserve team to Cadby Hall, Penny-lane, on Saturday to play St. Teresa’s in a match for the benefit for Sidney Grossman, the Saints player who broke an ankle just after Christmas and who has been off work ever since.

Liverpool Reserves: Morris, Kenneth Seddon, George Kay, Jack Macdonald, Laurie Hughes, Law, Billy Hall, Stan Palk, Les Shannon, Stan Williams, Ernest Rothwell.
