Samuel Rainey in Antiques v. Veterans

The Veterans’ challenge match on June 18 between Short & Harland’s Antiques and Carrick and Larne Veterans should arouse much interest. The players given below have agreed to turn out. Carrick Rangers have placed their ground and equipment at the disposal of the teams. Part proceeds will be devoted to the Red Cross. Carrickfergus Amateur Flute Band will be in attendance.

Antiques: Bennett (Glentoran), McCappin (Cliftonville), Frame (Linfield), Reid (Heart of Midlothians), Agnew (Larne), Rankin (Ards), Tom Priestly (Chelsea), McKnight (Bangor), Joe Bambrick (Chelsea), Geary (Glentoran), and McCaw (Cliftonville).

Veterans: Samuel Rainey (Liverpool), Holmes (Linfield), Fulton (Celtic), McCullough (Barn), Falloon (Aberdeen), Gorman (Woodburn), D. Coulter (Barn), Scott (Glentoran), Jack Coulter (Everton), and Stewart (Woodburn).
