Second-Lieutenant William Strauss, the South African and Aberdeen winger, takes the outside right position of Alex Macspadyen (Partick Thistle) in the Scotland side to play England in the Army International at Goodison Park on Saturday.
Sales of tickets for the match have almost reached 35,000, and it is expected that the full quota of 40,000 will be disposed of. It is interesting to note that the Scottish team on this occasion will, like their opponents, be numbered. So that onlookers will know “who’s who” on both sides.
