In pre-war years Liverpool F.C. had a mutually advantageous arrangement with Prescot Cables, whereby the latter acted as “nursery” to the senior club. With post-war development looming ever nearer, Liverpool are now in negotiation with the Prescot club whereby that arrangement may be extended if acceptable to Prescot, by Liverpool having a share of the cables’ ground, which would then be the home of Liverpool’s post-war colts. Prescot officials had a conference with Liverpool’s directors on Saturday, and will, in due course, confer with their colleagues.
