An application for the sale or lease of the Highbury Football Ground, at Fleetwood, which was constructed by Fleetwood Corporation at a cost of over £8,000 several years ago, and which has not been occupied for six years, was not entertained by the Corporation yesterday.
The company desiring to acquire the ground intended to erect a dance hall and restaurant, and provide a pleasure ground.
