Billy Liddell selected for Scotland

An entirely new forward line from that which played for Scotland against Belgium yesterday was selected after the game for the international with Ireland at Windsor Park, Belfast, on February 9. In defence Campbell (Morton) comes in at right half for his namesake Campbell (Clyde).
Team: Brown (Queen’s Park); McGowan (Partick), Shaw (Rangers); Campbell (Morton), Paton (Motherwell), George Paterson (Celtic); Waddell (Rangers), Hamilton (Aberdeen), Jock Dobbs (Blackpool), Chisholm (Queen’s Park), Billy Liddell (Liverpool).
Liddell was an original choice for the Belgium match, but could not obtain Service leave.
