The Liverpool F.C. officials and players, who are going to America for a month’s tour, will sail on the Queen Mary from Southampton next Saturday.
Those making the trip are:
Directors: William McConnell (chairman), Stanley Ronald Williams (vice-chairman), James Hubert Troop and Ralph Knowles Milne; George Kay (manager), Albert Shelley (trainer).
Players: Cyril Sidlow, Jim Harley, Bernard Ramsden, Ray Lambert, Laurie Hughes, Eddie Spicer, Bob Paisley, Tom Bush, Phil Taylor, Berry Nieuwenhuys, Jack Balmer, Willie Fagan, Bill Jones, Billy Liddell, Cyril Done, Bob Priday.
Provisional arrangements are for the first match to be played in New York on May 12 and the last on June 13. New York Soccer Association are responsible for the invitation.
