Is that Bertie? Or maybe him? Where are thou Albert Stubbins?

September 13, 1946
Albert Stubbins, start centre forward signed by Liverpool F.C. from Newcastle United for £13,000, arrived at Liverpool last night – and was not recognised by Mr. George Kay, the Liverpool manager waiting at the station. He went to a Liverpool hotel and was eventually traced by Mr. Kay. He will play for Liverpool against Bolton today.
