One man was injured and several fainted when a queue, almost a mile long, of people waiting for cup semi-final tickets at Liverpool Football Ground yesterday broke into disorder. The man was taken to hospital with rib injuries. Extra police who were on duty soon restored order. Thirty five thousand out of the 50,000 people who queued for the tickets for the replay match between Liverpool and Burnley at Manchester next Saturday were disappointed. The 16,000 tickets were disposed of in a couple of hours. Some people had waited from 10 o’clock the previous night.
