Strathearn C.C. have bright prospects for next season as far as “young blood” is concerned. They hope to swell their ranks with five additional young lads some of whom are at present in the Forces.
One of the newcomers will be big Frank Christie who was signed by Liverpool from Forfar Athletic two seasons ago. Frank’s cricket reputation is equal to the one he has earned in the football world.
Strathearn have eight footballers on their books. This points to end-of-season difficulties.
