Fred Finney transferred to South Liverpool

A former South player, Fred Finney (half-back) has returned to the fold. Finney formerly of Liverpool played for the South in seasons 1947, 1948 and 1949, but last season joined Prescot Cables, where he was an ever-present in the Lancashire Combination.
