Just before leaving Lime Street station en route for San Remo today are these players who will represent Liverpool’s “Under eighteens” in the international tournament in Italy on August 20, 21, and 22. Liverpool F.C. is the only British club competing. Officials who saw them off are (left): Messrs. John Charles Rouse (secretary), George Kay (manager), Richard Lawson Martindale (director), Councilor Isaac Robinson (hon. Secretary, Liverpool County F.A.) who travelled with them, and (extreme right Mr. J. Williams (director).
