One Soccer club who are putting bright ideas into their training for the start of the new season are Liverpool. The man behind a “less monotony” plan is Don Welsh, the former Charlton Athletic player, who starts his first full season as Liverpool’s manager.
Don aims to cut out the ceaseless lapping of the track, and instead the players will have keep-fit recreational games like leap-frog and tunnel-ball.
Of the club’s thirty full-time professionals only Albert Stubbins, centre forward, has yet to re-sign.
