Albert Stubbins, the Liverpool and former Newcastle United centre-forward, has been placed on the transfer list at his own request. Only a week ago Darlington made an offer for his services, but this was rejected by the club.
Stubbins, who played for Liverpool in a wartime international, was signed by Liverpool for £12,500 in October 1946.
