Accrington Stanley manager Mr. Walter Crook last night came to terms with his old club, Blackburn, and signed for a nominal fee South African winger Bob Priday, who cost £10,000 when transferred from Liverpool to Blackburn in March 1949.
Priday had been on Blackburn’s transfer list since May last year and had played with Lancashire Combination club Clitheroe, and in the Cheshire League with Northwich Victoria.
