Mr. John Dougary, of Lochgelly, who acts as agent for Liverpool, has just sent down one of Fife’s most promising youngsters. He is 16 year-old John Russell, right back of Cardenden. John stands 5ft 9 ½in. He played in all three schoolboy internationals for Scotland last season.
Mr. Dougary has the knack of picking out promising players. He sent Billy Liddell and Jim Harley to Liverpool, and both played for Scotland. He has every hope that Russell will do the same.
