The Central League side, away to Sheffield Wednesday Reserves, will be: –
Charles Aschroft; Albert Childs, Steve Parr; Roy Saunders, Fred Tomley, Don Campbell; Arthur Rowley, Eric Anderson, Alan Arnell, Fred Perry, Alan A’Court.
You will doubtless notice the absence of Ray Lambert and Jimmy Payne from both Liverpool teams. They are fit but are being held in reserve this week in view of Liverpool’s visit next Monday evening to Plymouth. The only Anfielder still under treament is Bobby Campbell, with a groin injury.
