A large crowd attended the wedding this morning at St. Mary’s Parish Church, Bagillt, of Mr. Ray Lambert, member of Liverpool F.C. and a Welsh international, youngest son of Mrs. And the late Mr. Albert Lambert, Premier Stores, Welsh Road, Queen’s Ferry, to Miss Eluned Evans, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Given away by her father, the bride wore a gown of white Italian Chantilly lace, with a full-length veil held in place by a diamante tiara. She carried a bouquet of red carnations. She was attended by Miss Gladys Evans, of Wallasey, and the best man was Mr. R.S. Jones, a friend of the groom.
