Arsenal manager, George Swindin, returned from a scouting mission in Scotland yesterday, and decided to delay selection of his team until today.
He watched the Dunfermline – Motherwell match. His main interest must have been in Ian St. John, Motherwell’s twenty-one-year-old centre forward, who was capped against Germany in the close season.
