Liverpool F.C. the new big job for Bill Shankly

Bill Shankly
was last night appointed as Liverpool’s £2,500-a-year manager, succeeding Phil Taylor, who resigned two weeks ago.
He is being released from the Huddersfield managership so that he can take over at Liverpool within a month.
