Mrs. Mirabelle Topham, who asked Liverpool Football Club to delay the kick off of their Cup tie with West Ham a week tomorrow from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. to avoid a clash with the Grand National, yesterday had the reply: “Regret impossible accede your request.”
Mrs. Topham said she had received no reply to her pre-paid telegram to the Football Association. She thought it “rude.”
