A Burton-on-Trent bricklayer has named his daughter after he players in the Liverpool football team who won the cup last year.
She is called Paula St. John Lawrence Lawler Byrne Strong Yeats Stevenson Callaghan Hunt Milne Smith Thompson Shankly Bennett Paisley O’Sullivan.
The father, Liverpool born Mr. Peter O’Sullivan, aged 34, has a copy of the birth certificate, framed and signed by the Liverpool players on display at his home.
Mrs. O’Sullivan said tonight: “The first I knew of it was seven days after I came out of hospital after Paula’s birth last September. I was disgusted. My husband is crazy about football, but I have never seen a match.
