Liverpool secretary Peter Robinson announces that they still have some ground tickets (5s) available for the opening game against Manchester City at Anfield on Saturday. They were on sale from the club’s ticket office from this morning.
There are a few season tickets (five guineas) available for the Kop and the Anfield Road end of the ground. These have been offered to people on the waiting list and not taken up, and will now be sold to the first who apply to the club offices.
