Liverpool will have one of their smallest following for an FA Cup-tie for many years at Coventry to-morrow. There will be little more than 3,000 fans at Highfield Road, instead of the 6,000 who originally bought tickets.
When the tie was postponed on Saturday, fans who were unable to travel to-morrow were given the chance to have their money refunded – and more than 2,500 returned their tickets. And to-day Liverpool returned 8,500 of their 12,000 allocation to Coventry.
