Wedding bells will be sounding loud and clear at Anfield in the next few months. For three players are getting married during the close season. First to the altar will be Ian Ross, captain of the Central League-winning reserve team. He is to marry Rona Watson, a 20-years-old bank clerk from Aintree on April 29 at Fazakerley.
He will be followed on June 6 at Huyton by Doug Livermore, the 22-years-old midfield player who has recently broken through into the first team. His bride will be 21-years old Pauline Siddell, a cashier from Huyton.
Completing the trio of prospective husbands is 23-years-old Brian Hall, the brains behind the reserve side at Anfield with a B.Sc. in maths and physics from Liverpool University. Brian is marrying Mary Charnley, a 22-years-old typist at Preston on June 13.
