Tony Waiters who quite his coaching job at Liverpool at the beginning of the week, signed for Burnley this morning, after having his third talk in a week with Burnley manager Jimmy Adamson.
Waiters has already started training with his new club, and Blackpool who still hold his registration, will receive a nominal fee. Adamson said:
“We are delighted to have signed him. As a goalkeeper, he will improve our playing strength, and he will also assist the coaching staff.”
