That cheerful fellow, Dave Underwood, who kept goal for Liverpool for two or three season just before the Shankly era arrived at Anfield, keeps his interest in the game in a novel way. He is chairman of Southern League club, Barnet, and is what is known in the trade as a “hustler” for A.T.V. when London clubs’ matches are being televised. That means that Dave feeds information to the commentators and rousts out players to be interviewed after matches.
