Liverpool youngsters Tommy Tynan and Kevin Kewley are due to play in America during the summer. They will link up with Dallas (writes Alex Goodman).
The deal was clinched by Dallas manager Al Miller and Liverpool chief Bob Paisley said to-day: “It benefits the players and Liverpool.”
Mr. Paisley added: “The trip to America will broaden their outlook and it will keep them in good condition during the summer. In addition the competition in American football is much better now.”
Tynane and Kewley have yet to make a first team appearance but both have been Central League regulars and Tynan was substitute in Saturday’s 2-1 Central League win over Leeds at Elland Road.
Top First Division players who will be in action in America during the summer include Dave Clements.
