Alan Waddle, 23, Liverpool reserve striker joined Leicester in a £45,000 deal yesterday and said: “I’m sure first team football is the incentive I’ve been waiting for.
“I was in a bit of a rut and worrying about my future.”
Manager Frank McLintock, working hard to get Leicester away from the bottom of the First Division said: “I believe Alan can develop into a top class player away from Liverpool.”
McLintock, since his arrival at Filbert Street three months ago, has already signed Eddie Kelly, George Armstrong and Lammie Robertson, but still has money to spend.
