Born in 1843 in Everton, who lived at 122 Hamilton Road and ran his own plumbing business. He was a member of the local Conservative Party and is listed, along with John Houlding, amongst vestry records of St Saviour’s church on Breckfield Road. Also chairman of Everton Burial Board in the late 1870s.
