Wednesday, May 7 – 1913
“J.W.N.” (Burnley). – In 1902-3 the total receipts by Burnley amounted to £946 9s. 6d., while the previous year the receipts were only £1,282 8s. 1d.

“W.N.” (Burnley). – We believe that Sheffield Wednesday are entitled to wear the Royal arms the same as Burnley and Bolton. If memory serves us correctly, Bolton played Sheffield Wednesday on the latter’s ground in the presence of Royalty, which entitles them to the distinction.
