William McOwen, the goalkeeper of the Liverpool Football Club during the last two seasons, and before that custodian for Darwen and Blackburn Rovers, has resolved to sign again for Liverpool, but to retire altogether from professional football. McOwen is a dentist by profession, and he intends to apply to the Association to be “whitewashed”, and to play occasionally as an amateur.
