William McOwen becomes a dentist

Friday, June 1 – 1894
William McOwen, the goalkeeper of the Liverpool Football Club during the last two seasons, and before that custodian for Darwen and Blackburn Rovers, has resolved to sign again for Liverpool, but to retire altogether from professional football.
