John Miller transferred to Bolton Wanderers

Mr. Frank Brettell, the secretary of the Bolton club, has made a good bargain in securing John Miller, the Derby County centre-forward, for £100, which seems an insignificant sum compared with the £500 which Stoke value Willie Maxwell at.

Miller, who played with Liverpool when he crossed the border, has been with Derby for two seasons, but lately he has not been very comfortable there. He is expected to considerably strengthen the Wanderers’ front line.
