James Chapman leaves for Heart of Midlothian

June 4, 1903
Heart of Midlothian have just appointed James Chapman, of Liverpool, trainer to the club. Chapman has been with the Liverpool team for several seasons, and was very popular with players and officials alike, who very much regret his departure to Scotland. He was considered one of the best trainers across the Border.

Chapman appears at Tynecastle in succession to Waugh.
