Motherwell to nick White from Aberdeen?

Tuesday, June 21 – 1904
The Directors of the Motherwell Club have offered Middlesbrough a substantial sum for the transfer of William White, who was reported as good as fixed for Aberdeen. The matter will be definitely settled at the next meeting of the Middlesbrough Directors. Should White join Motherwell the loss to Aberdeen will be a serious one, as he would have greatly strengthened their front rank.
